I'm sure some of you are wondering: what are the best situations to use the Daily Slate charts information to my advantage?

The very best situation you can find is a team that ESPN says has a 50% or more chance of winning that is also an underdog at your sportsbook of choice.

Those opportunities do come along, but it's very seldom you get to see that - maybe once in between 50-100 games.

Am I telling you to bet on a team that has low odds at winning a game bit gets positive EV?

No.

If underdogs getting better than 50-50 odds don't exist on a given day, I'd look for a team with better than 50-50 odds with the highest EV.

The differences between all of teams in pro sports isn't as great as you tend to think it is - so take a "stock market" perspective to it.

Look at anything where getting a return on your investment is the most likely - don't go looking for just a big score.
